Daniel’s approach to wedding videography is simple, let the day happen.
Daniel lives by the rule of not intruding on his client’s day but documenting what happens in front him. This approach allows Dan to create wedding films that are unique and full of story and character.
Simplicity and minimal kit are the key attributes to allowing Dan creative freedom to capture his client’s day perfectly, tiresome-free of large kits, and by only using natural light and great composition to really let a wedding be captured as naturally and discreetly as possible.

Daniel’s work as a renowned destination filmmaker has granted him the ability to work across the globe filming the likes of celebrities, royalty, bafta-winning filmmakers and sports stars to name a few. His work has made its way into publications around the world.

Daniel has won many awards across his career and been chosen on multiple occasions to speak at regular leading industry conferences on his style and approach to weddings. He has even judged international film contests in the Netherlands, Romania, The USA and the UK.

How did Daniel arrive at weddings?
A nearly 15 year journey has taken Daniel across the world filming weddings in countries he would never have had the experience of witnessing.
He has seen things and filmed things he could never have dreamed about as a young filmmaker at University but here he is after many turns and twists through an already varied work life.

SIMPLICITY IS THE KEY TO QUALITY
“This is my personal opinion of course. After many years of filming I know what to focus on, and it’s people and their story. It’s not the tiny details of jewellery and dresses hanging on mirrors, it’s the most important people to you. Life flashes before us and to have the ability to watch back the most important people in our lives all in one place is the most special thing in the world. The connection of people and their relationship is worth the time to document and weave into a telling story.
I film mainly with one camera and one lens throughout the day to allow myself the freedom to document and navigate your day as best I can. So that I am able to really focus on documenting your wedding in an artistic and unique way.
Having the ability to compose natural light and the surroundings of your wedding is key. So is being able to stand still and slow down what is happening in front of me and not be running around filming everything I can is the difference, step back and focus on what is most important. ON THE DAY
Daniel goes mostly unnoticed filming his client’s wedding videos, filming only by himself or a very small team of people in order to really take in your surroundings, people, culture and emotions to allow his eyes to capture everything through the camera lens.
